I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
